SINGLE DAY TOURS Chase a single day with Tempest Tours president and founder Martin Lisius
1 Chase Day Includes storm chasing, and exclusive 2013 chase team T-shirt. This tour is limited to a maximum of 2 guests.
ARRIVE: Various dates between March 15 and May 31. If you register for this tour, you will be added to a waiting list and called appx. 3-5 days prior to a potential North Texas area chase day. If you are able to commit at that time, you will be booked and the tour fee will be due. If you are unable to commit, the next guest on the list will be contacted. No deposit is required to be added to the waiting list, but full tour amount is due the day you commit. Typical departure time: 10:00 am. Typical return time: 11:00 pm.

What Tours Include
Tours include chasing and lodging during the tour, and an exclusive chase team T-shirt. Guests are responsible for meals and extra lodging prior or after the tour. During the tour, each guest will have an unobstructed window view in our clean, comfortable, roomy, smoke-free, air conditioned, owned, insured and carefully maintained 8-passenger vans. In order to maximize safety, logistics and maintain the quality of our product, we will operate a maximum of only three vehicles per tour, and sometimes only one-two vans. Tours depart from the base city hotel. Guests are responsible for transportation to the base city. A free airport shuttle is provided by our base city hotel. Each tour will depart from and return to the base city. The group will travel throughout Tornado Alley during the tour. Guests will attend a mandatory orientation at 10:00 am on their "arrive" date. The orientation will take place at our base hotel with a chase to begin immediately following. Consider booking your flight so that you arrive the day before your tour so that you can make the orientation on time. Guests must schedule departing flights after 3:00 pm local time on their "depart" day. All guests must be in moderately good physical condition to participate in our tours as we must unload and load our vehicles quickly to keep up with the fast developing weather we track. Guests are responsible for meals and miscellaneous expenses. Each tour includes lodging at clean, comfortable motels such as Super 8, Days Inn, Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn. Private room for each single guest. Free breakfast provided by base hotel and some on-road lodging. Guests will be notified with the name and location of the base city hotel after registration.
Tour Fees

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at time of registration payable by US check, credit card, cashier's check or money order. The remaining balance is payable by credit card, cashier's check or money order. Tour prices subject to change. Guests are charged the rate listed at time of registration. There are no extra fees like fuel surcharges, baggage fees or booking fees.
What to Bring
5-days of clothing (many motels offer laundry facilities). Weather is warm to hot, so shorts, jeans and T-shirts are the normal dress. Tennis shoes or light hiking boots for foot ware (no "flip flops"). A light, water-resistant coat for occasional cool weather, and a camera to capture your experience. Guests on June and July tours must bring a valid passport or US Passcard in case we travel into Canada to track weather.
