On this unique tour, guests will chase with New York Times best-selling author and storm chaser Jenna Blum who will provide and autograph her novel "The Storm Chasers" for all participants. This tour coincides with the peak of tornado activity on the High Plains of northeast Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and the Dakotas. Tours
Tours include chasing and lodging during the tour, and an exclusive chase team T-shirt. Guests are responsible for meals and extra lodging prior or after the tour. During the tour, each guest will have an unobstructed window view in our clean, comfortable, roomy, smoke-free, air conditioned, owned and carefully maintained vans. In order to maximize safety, logistics and maintain the quality of our product, we will operate a maximum of only three vehicles per tour, and sometimes only one-two vans. Tours depart from the base city hotel. Guests are responsible for transportation to the base city. A free airport shuttle is provided by our base city hotel. Each tour will depart from and return to the base city. The group will travel throughout Tornado Alley during the tour. Guests must arrive at the base city hotel by the orientation time listed above on their "arrive" day and schedule departing flights after 3:00 pm local time on their "depart" day.
Meals and Lodging
Guests are responsible for meals and miscellaneous expenses. Each tour includes lodging at clean, comfortable motels such as Super 8, Days Inn, Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn. Private room for each single guest. Free breakfast provided by base hotel and some on-road lodging. Guests will be notified with the name and location of the base city hotel after registration.
Tour Fees

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required at time of registration payable by US check, credit card, cashier's check or money order. The remaining balance is payable by credit card, cashier's check or money order. Tour prices subject to change. Guests are charged the rate listed at time of registration. There are no extra fees like fuel surcharges, baggage fees or booking fees.
Annual Lecture Tour & Severe Weather Workshop
Noted meteorologist Dr. Charles Doswell will present a comprehensive discussion on storm chasing during his annual tour. Don't miss this unique opportunity to chase with one of the world's leading authorities on tornadoes.
What to Bring
5-days of clothing (many motels offer laundry facilities). Weather is warm to hot, so shorts, jeans and T-shirts are the normal dress. Tennis shoes or light hiking boots for foot ware (no "flip flops"). A light, water-resistant coat for occasional cool weather, and a camera to capture your experience.
